Construction Material and Furniture Trade - RTC “Gāles nams”

JSC “Siguldas Būvmeistars” established its trade department in Year 1994. The department entered the market as a completely new selling place for the construction materials in Sigulda and its surroundings, with determined plans for future. During the period of more than 16 years JSC “Siguldas Būvmeistars” has successfully developed the trade of construction materials.

In 2002 JSC “Siguldas Būvmeistars” in collaboration with JSC “Rautakesko” opened a new, modern Regional trade centre of construction materials (RTC) “Gāles nams” in Sigulda. At present it's one of the biggest trade centers of construction materials, furniture, household items and agricultural products outside the big cities.

The clients of RTC “Gāles nams” are businessmen, farmers and private persons from Sigulda and Vidzeme region. The shipment and instalment of the products at their homes or their construction objects is also provided for the clients and acquisition of construction materials is available upon request. On regular basis there are also organized training seminars in the trade centre “Gāles names” for the clients regarding the use of the latest construction materials.

Due to the growing market, in summer of 2005 we enlarged the store to 4000 m². Seeing that the turnover of the store continued to increase and accrued the requirement of variety of goods, in summer of 2006 we started the enlargement of RBTC „Gāles nams” the third stage and yet in December were able to open the store in new enlarged premises. The total space of the store now is 5200 m².

Near „Gāles nams” in collaboration with SIA „Ramirent” we have opened a specialized rental store that gives a possibility to offer our clients even more qualitative service when buying construction materials and renting the construction machinery together in one place.

We have thought about our young customers also by making a free of charge play ground that is situated in the furniture department. And the parents are able to purchase items for babies – different toys, baby carriages, car seats and furniture.

In Year 2010 department of electronics and home appliances was also expanded in „Gāles nams”.

The turnover of „Gāles nams” in 2011 was 2,22 million LVL.
